Slip of the Script

ActionScript 3.0 is absolutely awesome. I have taken on a new position at ClickMotive recently that focuses on UI with Flash and AS3 exclusively. I’m still getting my feet wet with the new language but so far I love it and can’t wait until I fully grasp the power of it. I feel like I’m so far behind the guys I’m working with but the group is one of the brightest bunch of guys I’ve worked with to date. I’m confident that I’ll get it down and am just enjoying the opportunity I have. As soon as I have a better understanding of the language I plan on posting my experiences with it, I’m already finding things I love and others I’m not so keen on. Overall though it’s a huge improvement over AS2 and seems to have really grown up as a language.
